3-   The nitrogen ( Urea ) fertilizer plant :

4-   The urea industry is one of the main achievements

of chemical industry in the twenty century

Natural gas is the important primary material for

 the urea industry in this plant instead of naphtha .

 Ammonia is the primary material for the urea fertilizer industry .

 This plant has two main departments , namely :

5-   A. The liquid ammonia department capacity 1000 tons a day .

B. The urea department capacity 1050 tons a day .

 The plant consumption of ammonia is 610 tons for the design

The phospho – gypsum pumping unit :

This unit is intended to get rid of the contaminated phospho

 gypsum by pumping it with impure water

 coming from the T.S.P fertilizer plant ,

 then precipitating this material and collecting in special basins with

 floor isolated by polyethylene then getting back the

 impure water to G.F.C to mix with the phospho – gypsum

and pumping again in a closed water circuit .

This project is designed to avoid the environmental

 contamination by phospho – gypsum and to avoid

the contamination of the streams , shallow and

underground water by the impure water

resulting from producing the phosphatic

 fertilizer for twenty years of whole capacity commissioning .

We hope that we will always be successful in

 raising the production figures of fertilizers of  good quality .

 We find in H.E. president Bashar Ah-Assad ,

the secretary general of the Baath Arab Socialist Party ,

 the President of Republic , the best support ,

 and this wil be the strong incentive to go ahead to

achieve the goals for which the General Fertilizers

 Company has been founded . The goal is provide

 the necessary fertilizers for our crops and to export

 the surplus in support of our national economy .
